PPGI Coils Overview

PPGI coils use galvanized steel as the substrate, which is chemically treated and coated with organic paint before drying. For the Libyan order, PE paint with color RAL 9002 was applied. The Difference Between PPGL and PPGI

1. First of all, from the point of view of the extent of their coating, the galvanized steel coils are mainly zinc plated on the coating. And the plating of galvalume is not only zinc but also an additional aluminum.

2. Galvanized coils are fully zinc-plated, providing excellent rust resistance. In contrast, Galvalume coils contain aluminum, which is more prone to oxidation. Therefore, galvanized coils generally offer a longer service life.

1. Galvalume coils and galvanized coils have very good heat resistance because they are made of high heat resistance temperature material coating, so after a relatively high temperature will still be preserved in good condition.

2. Color-coated Galvalume and galvanized steel coils provide good heat reflectivity. Among them, Galvalume offers superior reflective performance compared to galvanized steel. This higher efficiency makes it more suitable for thermal reflective applications.

3. Pre-painted Galvalume steel coils have a relatively low density due to the aluminum coating, which is lighter than zinc. As a result, they are lighter than traditional galvanized steel coils. This also makes them more economical and generally lower in price.

4. PPGI and PPGL are easier to paint, their adhesion is better, not easy to appear uneven in color.

Packaging
